Outreach Ministry
At Shiloh Lutheran Church, our faith is not confined within the walls of our sanctuary; it extends into the very heart of our community through our Outreach Ministry.  We are committed to making a positive impact, one life at a time.  Our outreach initiatives are the embodiment of our mission to spread love, compassion, and hope to those who need it most.  Some of these initiatives include:

Operation Warm Heart - making sleeping mats for York's homeless through Friends and Neighbors of PA.

Prayer Shawl Ministry - Knitting Shawls for the sick.

Prison Ministry Blessing Bags - Christmas treat bags for incarcerated men and women.

Bulldog Pantry - Providing food and basic need items for West York Families.

Tree for Hope - Educational support for girls in Guatemala.

Summer Arts Camp - Provides activities for Community Youth.

Annual Yard Sale - Profits go to local and global organizations.

Lutheran World Relief Care Kits - Putting God's love into action by assembling personal care kits to be distributed by LWR in their relief efforts.

New Hope Ministries
Members donate money and personal items to support those who receive services from the New Hope Ministries based in Dillsburg, York County.  We also sponsor families at Christmas by purchasing gifts so they can have a Christmas, collect food to fill the shelves of the food bank, and serve as volunteers in the Dover Center
Preschool Perks & Connections
Our preschool families are supported thru a monthly coffee hour time, a Parent's Night Out, and various meals through the year, from a welcome back picnic to Easter Egg Hunt & potluck. Our goal is to lighten their load and share our love.

Konde Diocese in Tanzania - Companion Congregation Agape Parish in Mebya
We support this congregation through correspondence, sharing in relationship, and supporting annual scholarships for qualifying students in Agape Parish through our Annual Cookie Drive in December.

Care Ministry Team
Our Care Ministry Team consists of active and retired health care professionals and volunteers who serve our congregation by making Care Calls to our homebound members. We have a trained home communion team who regularly bring the Sacrament to our shut-ins.  Christmas cheer baskets are assembled and distributed annually.
